Ice Prince Departs Chocolate City, Floats Own Label
Award winning Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince is now a man of his own as the rapper has revealed that he is no longer with Chocolate City following the expiration of his contract.
Ice made this know while speaking with Dotun and Temi of Cool FM when he said that his contract with record label ended almost three years ago and all he has is a cordial relationship with Choc City.
He dished that he didn’t make his exit from Choc City known because he still has some working relationship with the label public because of his personal relationship with the label owners.
Ice prince now has his own record label which he calls Super Cool Cats and there are even rumours that he already has artistes signed under him.
This would make him the third rapper to have made an announcement of leaving in the last six months since Kahli Abdu & VHS Safari, and rapper Milli also recently left.
In the meanwhile, Ice Prince is getting ready to release his third studio album titled “Jos to the World” which follows his 2011 album “Everybody loves Ice Prince” and 2013’s “Fire of Zamani” (2013).
