It’s Confirmed! P-Square Says Goodbye To May D

By  |

You know how we have been hearing small small gists on Twitter of May D parting ways with P-Square? Now, it’s been confirmed. In fact, an official statement has been released to back up the claims. Want to see more?

So the real gist behind the story is that May D never really signed any contract with P-Square. What they had was a verbal agreement before their collaboration.

But when the time came for a signed contract, May D insisted on demands that the Record Label could not keep up with, and they parted ways. Read Jude Okoye’s Official Statement below:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

“I, JUDE ‘ENGEES’ OKOYE, of Square Records Limited and Northside Entertainment Limited hereby announces to the general public that Mr. Akinmayokun Awodumila, otherwise known as MAY D is no longer an artiste under the aforementioned outfits due to irreconcilable differences.

We at Northside and Square records wish him all the best in his career and life.

Yours Faithfully

Signed: Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye, CEO, Northside Ent. Ltd/Square Records.”

While we would have wished for more great songs from the P-Square/May D collabo, it seems there’s none forthcoming. Not now anyway.

Which way May-D?
