Juliet Ibrahim Takes A Swipe At Celebrities Mocking Domestic Violence
The crash of Mercy Aigbe‘s marriage due to allegations of domestic violence has brought out mixed reactions from many people.
Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim has however made it clear that she is not in support of ridiculing women who suffer from domestic violence. She took to social media to slam so called celebrities making mockery of the issue.
The actress and mother wrote that women’s value has been taken for granted due to domestic violence, egoism and male chauvinism. She advised never to joke about domestic violence because violence is never a choice anyone should make.
She also said before we judge victims about why they didn’t leave, she said we should patiently hear them out and lend our voices to encourage other victims to speak out.
The light skinned beauty believes keeping quiet doesn’t help matters and she said shame on the so called celebs tweeting and snapping while mocking any thing concerning another woman’s well being that is out there in the news.
Juliet reminded them don’t karma is real and they should be careful what they wish for others. Juliet Ibrahim herself is a divorced single mother and is said to be currently dating Nigerian rapper Iceberg Slim.
