Nigerian superstar Wizkid and his manager, Sunday Are are in legal trouble in Uganda as a Ugandan court has issue a warrant for their arrests. This comes after Wizkid cancelled his end of year concerts on doctor’s orders and apologised to fans.

Apparently Face TV paid Sunday Are, a total performance fee of USD60,000, a brokerage fee of USD5,000 and USD3,000 as per diem for the days they were to spend in Uganda.

But with Wizkid cancelling all shows till next year, they are facing charges of obtaining money by false pretense, cheating and, conspiracy to defraud, designed by Face TV lawyers of Muwema Co. Advocates and Solicitors.

It is learnt that before expenses were incurred, the approval of Wizkid and his manager was sought and over 25,000 people have already bought tickets in anticipation of the concert tickets high was slated to hold at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala on December 3rd 2016.

A Magistrate has now ordered police to produce the pair in the Kampala Court before or on January 16th 2017.

Fans of Wizkid are however asking him to give them a refund of their money in order to get out of the mess. If convicted, he and his manager face up to three years in jail.
