Wizkid’s Manager Sunday Are Reveals They Are In Talks To Settle With Ugandans

Some time last week, we reported how an Uganda court ordered for the arrest if Nigerian music sensation, Wizkid and his manager, Sunday Are after spending well over N144 million to get them to come to a show in the country.

A judge then issued an arrest warrant on them since Wizkid cancelled all scheduled performances of December 2016 to January 2017 based on doctor’s orders.

Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are has now revealed that they are in talks with the organizers, FaceTV to settle the misunderstanding. Wizkid was supposed to have gone from the US to Lugogo Cricket Oval in Uganda to perform on December 3.

With the arrest warrant issued on them for cheating, obtaining money by false pretense and conspiracy to defraud, Wizkid and Sunday Are face up to eleven years in prison.

But with Sunday Are’s new revelation, we guess they would be able to settle out of court and refund most of the money they collected back to the organizers.
